When I look on this board and see all of the beautiful and amazing quilts on here, I just want to make them!! I want to make one like all of them! Am I the only one who feels this way? Or, am I just weird???

Deb watkins 02-11-2011 05:21 AM

That is what the bookmarks are for...my list grows longer each day!

dakotamaid 02-11-2011 05:22 AM

I'm like you, my to do list is long.:)

rusty quilter 02-11-2011 05:24 AM

It all just keeps me inspired! Book marking is a great idea, I'll try it.

Michelle48350 02-11-2011 05:24 AM

That is exactly what i have been feeling this morning too.

litacats 02-11-2011 05:25 AM

I love so many quilts and hope one day to make many of them but I forget to bookmark a lot of them. oh dear I would forget my head if it wasn't so securely attached

quiltinghere 02-11-2011 05:25 AM

I either want to make them all ...

Or

QUIT QUILTING because the quilts that are shown are so beautiful I know I can never do something like that.

Cyn 02-11-2011 05:26 AM

I'm right there with you!

Enchanted Quilter 02-11-2011 05:29 AM

I am just like you! I see all these beautiful quilts and fall in love with them. I have a "want to make this, too" list that is probably a mile long!

Connie in CO 02-11-2011 05:53 AM

Hi,did you show the one you just finished?Connie in CO

Raggiemom 02-11-2011 05:54 AM

You're not alone--my list of quilts I want to make is longer than my life will be! ;)

LAB55 02-11-2011 06:18 AM

All the quilts here are so beautiful ! Want to make them all too.
I hope some day to make some as beautiful. I do my best and do put them in the local show at times ( only held every other year ) to be judged just so I can find where i need to improve.

feffertim 02-11-2011 06:30 AM

I am just like you, my bookmark page is huge

Boy, I can relate to this, I'm either inspired or I want to go burn everything I've made so far.

CherryPie 02-11-2011 04:49 PM

Me, too. I just hope that some day to make a quilt half as beautiful as the ones I've seen on here. It just amazes me how they are so perfect and even some of the first-timers. Believe me...my first one didn't look like any of theirs but I'm still proud of it.

RkayD 02-11-2011 05:07 PM

No No...you are not weird...I save all kinds of pictures and pdf's that are offered on blogs and such. I will NEVER get through it all. AND...it makes me have information overload. When I go to start a new project..I have too MUCH to choose from. Thats a good thing...right?

Annaquilts 02-11-2011 05:08 PM

Oh yeah! No you are not weird.

CarrieAnne 02-11-2011 05:20 PM

me, too!

Psychomomquilter 02-12-2011 02:22 AM

I do book marks as well, one day when I get better at this I will make them!

Yooper32 02-12-2011 02:32 AM

No, you are perfectly normal, (for a quilter).

emerald46 02-12-2011 03:29 AM

Oh no, you are not alone. Every login here brings "wow, I want to make that one" (at least several times..lol). More fabric and ideas that I will ever finish.

plainpat 02-12-2011 03:32 AM

My feelings exactly!

I am making baking for a quilt and pulled one of my bookmarks patterns and made 3 large squares to go in the back. I love making the back a bit more interesting and it give me a change to try new blocks. I love the one I just did and it was quick and easy so will be using it for a quilt in the future, hopefully near future...

Whitney60 02-12-2011 05:00 AM

I'm with all of you and have been sending many quilt pictures to my pictures. But what is and how do you book mark? I must be in the cave man era. Always something to learn here. Thank you.

Janet My 02-12-2011 05:15 AM

You are not alone.... My "To Do" list is so long I'd be 125 before I got them all done.... and each day another one gets added to the list.

Then... I don't get any quilting done on the WIPs because I'm on here looking and reading. I have to limit my time, but I have a hard time doing that.

SueDor 02-12-2011 05:18 AM

No its not just you. We have thousands of members that bookmark every quilt.

LoriEl 02-12-2011 05:30 AM

I am the same way and there will never be enough time...

lillybeck 02-12-2011 05:35 AM

I have so many things on my to do list I will never get them done and I just keep adding more. With money being so tiight right now I am in a slump but am working on a few small things and will get going soon. I too want to do everything I see.

Peggybluebird 02-12-2011 05:44 AM

I've gotten so many ideas and learned so much EVERY DAY by the things that get posted and discussed here! My favorite part now is the "show and tell" where people post pictures of what they've finished or are in some stage of working upon. This board is like having your very supportive sister right there in your house to encourage and share with you! Thanks to all of you!

I don't get intimidated, but I do get very encouraged and challenged by all that I see here!

Hi Connie. Yes. I posted it in a different thread. Now, I'm trying to quilt it and having fits.

plainpat 02-12-2011 05:49 AM

Hi,Whitney. It took me a while to learn about Bookmark & still not an expert.
At top of page near subject, you'll see the word Bookmark,....above author, click on that then fill in subject, such as "Best Binding" (example)....then click if you want the list to be public or not.If public, anyone on the board can look at the list. When you want to read/edit the list, click on My Bookmarks near top of page by My Profile.OK,,,,, that's all I know :)
