I purchased 3 plastic containers at WalMart, with 3 wide draws each. Each draw has a different color fabric. I did have an open bookcase but with these containers the fabric will stay dust free (somewhat)

I love it! You should sell the song on itunes!--make money to buy more fabric. Your husband must have a terrific sense of humor.

Yep. I turn my shoe cubbies sideways and I also take out some of the "sections" (mine has removable pieces) to make bigger spaces for my yardage pieces.

Crafty Bear, now we need to see YOUR storage!

I really enjoy Crafty Bear's help / hint locations. Look forward to what she has supplied every day - first thing when I get up in the AM. Thanks, Crafty Bear - you do terrific work for all of us.

Here's a pic of my organized scraps. I couldn't find the right size baskets, so I cut boxes to fit in the bottom shelves of the shoe cubbies and covered the boxes in contact paper. I wrapped the scraps on smaller pieces of comic book boards.

The video was funny, I wonder how many of use would like to "buy the house next door" for our stash?
