Pink, pink, piiinnnkkkk!! I'll never use it all up, but I better be buried in pink, someone told me years ago it took 10 years off me. LOL

Raine 08-17-2012 08:13 AM

Asian Fabric mostly.
Currently I am on the look out for Farmer's Market prints with veggies, and fruits for my latest landscape project.

Just curious. what do you do with your ugly scraps?

You say you collect ugly scraps.... I'm curious. What do you do with your ugly scraps?

Elephants! I love elephants, so I love to sneak them in somewhere.

I'm also drawn to bright modern colors. I tend to look more at color than at the print (unless it has a trunk and four giant feet....)

pinkcastle 08-17-2012 09:52 AM

Currently I'm into Asian fabrics and batiks. Although, I do have a weakness for Halloween fabric. I have a whole bunch of it and have yet to make something with it. I think that's gonna change this fall.

Reds of all sorts, 30's anything I can use for Sunbonnet Sue. Anyone know where I can find fabrics with Bull Dogs? DD loves them and Haven't seen any with only Bull dogs.

diamondee 08-17-2012 01:42 PM

I collect just one thing ... "every-thing"

susie-susie-susie 08-17-2012 01:48 PM

I love browns, yellows, and greens. I recently noticed that I didn't have any blues so now I gravitate toward them. The only things I don't go for are Holiday prints and children's prints. I make children's quilts just not with novelty fabric.

I love them all. I don't usually look for it...... it looks for me!!

diamondee 08-17-2012 01:54 PM

Going through some boxes the other day, I ran across some OMGWWUT (ohmygoodnesswhatwereyouthinking) fabric. I'll just have to cut it up small. REAL SMALL

lfstamper 08-17-2012 01:54 PM

All fabric has some kind of chemical that lures me in! Is there a manufacturer secret here....lol.

QuiltnLady1 08-17-2012 03:42 PM

Fabric -- I have gone through all the phases and am starting over again. I am a pushover for patriotic and bright colors. I have space, sewing, novelty, asian....... I am trying to stop, mostly. Need to start using up all this fabric so I have room for more.

Greenheron 08-17-2012 05:25 PM

Snake skin--I want to do "Snake in the Hollow" with realistic prints. Might need to start looking for grass, too, LOL, for a "Snake in the Grass in the Hollow."

kaysue4 08-17-2012 06:07 PM

I am doing a Civil War quilt right now. But, I also love frogs and my grandsons like monkey's. My grand daughter likes Spongbob, so maybe one day I will get to one of those.

burchquilts 08-17-2012 07:26 PM

1930's, batiks, Civil War --- especially double pinks. I'd walk a mile for a nice double pink or shirting!

Oh, I just got an email about some fruit & vegetable fabrics on sale. Maybe Fabric.com?

karate lady 08-17-2012 09:23 PM

One of my favorite places to buy fabric...

Seaside gal 08-18-2012 06:20 AM

Cats and purples and blues.

Maggieloe 08-18-2012 07:05 AM

Sometimes I think quilting is just an excuse to buy fabric.

brendadawg 08-18-2012 10:37 AM

Airplanes! My husband is a pilot, and I'm gathering airplane fabric for a special quilt for him. Of course, I've probably collected enough to make 3 quilts already. Guess it's time to get started on it!

I DON'T WANT TO BE AN ENABLER FOR BUNNY COLLECTORS, BUT...

Check out this cute panel! I bought one to cut up for a baby quilt.

I'm always on the lookout for cat fabric. I prefer more real looking cats rather than cartoon cats. And any black and white fabric. I'm hoping to make myself a black & white quilt someday soon.

Boston1954 08-21-2012 01:20 PM

I have fallen in love with batiks lately. I also love just about anything made by Robert Kaufman.

sylviak 08-21-2012 01:39 PM

I love purples, blacks, all batiks, particularly the Stonehedge collection. I wasn't particularly fond of green until I realized how many times I need them! I love Asian fabric, as does one of my granddaughters. I really like florals. I guess I just love fabric!
