Nancy,
I use the "blue" painters tape.
It does not damage the fabric
and you can put your stickers
on it and they will stick
and not fall off.

Thanks Dreamer. So make the tape a backing and I can still use my original sign. Do you just leave the fabric folded or tape it together?

I've just left the fabrics folded.
Seemed to work well.
Most people don't seem to unfold.

Thanks. I have been worried about that. I have a LOT of donated fabric. Made me realize that I have too much stuff too. I'm going to start reducing it again. I don't want to die and have my family toss it into totes or throw it away!!!!

scotch tape over the dots and it should hold it inn place, wish i was gonna be there to buy fabric.

Nancy the thing about the blue painters tape
is that it doesn't leave any residue.
sometimes people buy things and stack
in sewing room and don't remove
until they are going to use and that
is when they will find the residue.
not a good idea using staples.
this angers me when I buy
fabric done this way.

Any chance your customer's might try to switch colors? If yes, staple the tags. If I was at the garage sale, I could live with having to remove the staple for a good price .

You can get the small tags at the office store w/a little whole in them and then use the small safety pin to hold it on secure

Well I can always hope! I have so much that I know I will never use it all. And I want to be able to buy new things that I see. So I'm going to start selling again.
