Just like a sister if you ask me. Mine came from her in a round about way. when she passed her children wanted the quilts but not the sewing machine. It was a bernina 930 and I loved it. fixed it several times and husband this past valentines day surprised me with a bernina aurora 430 and I'm pleased to say the 930 went to neices who are just starting to sew and quilt !! Enjoy and a very Happy Healthy Blest New Year.

Sorry to loose a sewer but wonderful for you. Enjoy the treadle machine. I had one years ago with all the atachments and sold it, stupid of me. Didn't realiaze the value of it.

Wow...I certainly do hope that it isn't a physical problem that has prompted this decision. I know that I have gone through times when I just didn't want to do anything in the sewing room...but the urge always returns. Even creativity can use a rest once in a while.
