WARM WISHES. Use your two big prints for the squares and instead of three color for your 3 log piece, use blue/yellow/blue and bind int the yellow.

I have some Laurel Burch cat prints, a total of 16 different prints in fat quarters. Bought them a year ago at Road to California show and have not been able to bring myself to use them!! I look at them often, and keep looking for fat quarter friendly patterns, but so far nothing has been worthy of them ; ) I guess I will just go on admiring them whenever I open my"to be done" bin.

I'm sorry. Go down to the fourth row and the name is mad river quilting. This is the one I used.

That would be perfect for a fussy cut pattern.

Try Boxtrot Pattern by Creative Sewlutions...It allows your focus fabric to shine...because the rectangles and squares use larger pieces of fabric...You can buy pattern online at http://www.creativesewlutions.com/

there is also a book called "just can't cut it" that has some great patterns for just such a dilemma! Enjoy.
