I bought this fabric the other day and I don't want to cut it into small pieces. I know y'all will have some brilliant ideas for what kind of quilt I can make...

I'd definitely use that bike print as the focus of my block...cute fabric!!!!

That looks like a new Moda fabric - I have so many pieces of fabric that I don't want to cut either - We just have to pull out our rotary cutter and do it - I have no suggestions for a pattern - its very cute fabric.

That would be perfect in the Diamond Patch pattern. http://pleasantvalleycreations.bigca...-quilt-pattern

Congratulations!!! I have the same fabrics. I am going to make a baby quilt out of it. Like you, I haven't been able to make up my mind as to which pattern to use. I've been toying with several different ideas and can't settle on one. But, I have to decide very soon. The baby is due in 7 weeks. Let me know what you decide on if you can.

I have the same situation with a set of 4 new fabrics so have been looking for patterns with larger piece blocks. I have found thee that I like (patterns purchased on etsy): "Sew Darn Charming" and "midnight Reflections" both by Night Owl Quilting and "Northern Exposure" by Lunden Designs. You might see if any of those appeal to you.

This is what I made with a fabric too beautiful to cut. It's called Cabin in the Woods.

What delicious fabric. Whatever design you pick it will be pretty. Don't forget to show us how it ends up.

WARM WISHES. Use your two big prints for the squares and instead of three color for your 3 log piece, use blue/yellow/blue and bind int the yellow.
