Why is it when I see a grouping of fabrics, like in a charm pack or a jelly roll, I don't think they are that pretty but once I see something created from them, I love them?

Am I the only one?

I really didn't like the Fandango line but I just saw a quilt made from it and I'm in love.

I'm that way too. I recently got a layer cake and a jelly roll and didn't want to take them apart to plan the quilt cause they looked so nice all bundled up. :)

That's why the best quilt shops have samples made up - you fall in love with the fabrics and then buy them!

Kind of like looking at a dress on the hanger - sometimes you just have to try it on

It's the same syndrome that causes me to bypass fabric in the LQS until the person ahead of me in line has it and then I have to have some. Just the act of someone else planning to do something with it makes it attractive to me.
