Thanks, Jan! That's ingenious! I have only made 4-patches for scrappy quilts, but will definitely use this method when I need multiples.
To sew 4 patches, I use them as leaders/enders while sewing other blocks. That way they add almost no time. |
Actually, both way are super simple! Depending on what size of fabric you start with I could see using either method. Thanks. I learned something this morning. I guess that you truly can teach an old dog new tricks!!

yep, i've just made over 300 of them!!! this is the beginning of a quilt with them, it's larger than the photo now but not done yet!
