Fat quarters

I am looking for some suggestions to what I should make. I have several fat quarter bundles I bought and I would like to make quilts for my grandkids this year. If you would like to share pictures of some of the quilts you made using fat quarters I would love to see them and get ideas.

I have 2 that I am using in a few free BOM"s I joined this year. A sampler quilt might be fun too.

twisted turning twenty or disappearing 4 patch? Turning 20 takes 20 FQ, half light, half dark... I twisted mine and mixed up the blocks.

this requires twenty fat quarters and is a classic pattern from years ago - (not sure when) it is really simple to do and there is a companion pattern 'Turning 20 - II'

I agree with the Turning Twenty pattern books. I believe they are up to book three, I've got books 1 & 2 and all of the patterns are fat quarter friendly.

Do a lookup of "wickedly easy quilts" on www.byannie.com Someone just posted it this week and i can't wait to start one. Various sizes use from 6 to 30 fat quarters....and so pretty. Good luck !

I am currently making a quilt called lucky stars by terry Atkinson. I love this pattern!

Moda bakeshop shop has lots of free patterns and ideas as well

I have several books by M'Liss Rae Hawley that deal with just fat quarters. Most of the patterns need just six or seven with some background fabric and border fabric. She has some terrific ideas. Hope this helps.
