Mary isn't it amazing when you realize that you can still eat and enjoy food without having to eat it all in large portions. I know I feel better now when I eat smaller portions.

I totally enjoyed both and enjoyed the food and drinks with out going crazy. It truly is becoming a new way of life!

Congrats!!! Good job for making good choices! Now let's see some quilt blocks! ;)

Day started out cruddy. My current college sucks big time and their financial aid department messed something up once again. I had to go down there and talk to 50 million different supervisors before someone finally found my file and fixed the issue. I came home ready to fill my face but then saw DH playing tea party with the daycare kids. My heart just melted and I got strong and remembered that I'm losing weight for me, for us, and for our future baby. I did not go off my diet. I feel proud of myself. :)

YAY! Christina!! You can do it!! Just stay strong and remember each time you want to stuff yourself that picture of DH playing tea. Close your eyes and think about it.

Hey, we're stalling here. I assume we are all so busy with Christmas we don't have time to work on our own quilts. I have purchased all my fabrics, know the pattern and have lost over the five pound limit I set for myself to start. Problem - Christmas. Oh, well, fabric keeps and I do love giving gifts to my family.

I think you are right. I know I have been too busy to work on my blocks. Once Christmas is over we all can get back to a more normal routine.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning (and I already ate breakfast) so I'll try again tomorrow. I have a math final tomorrow so I've been spending my time studying algebra. I'll be so glad when it's over and done with. lol

Woohoo, three more squares!! I am having to use pounds and inches both to get to the 49 squares my quilt will have. I got brave and measured when I was near a tape measure digging out beads to make a bracelet. I have lost three inches total!

Maybe by the time I get to start this quilt, I will be able to make enough squares to see what it is going to look like.

I had two hamburgers for dinner last night - one a cheeseburger.
