Favorite brand - solid white fabric?
I'm looking to order some really nice quality solid white quilting fabric. Does anyone have a brand they love? I use so much white fabric in my projects, I'm always running out. I live an hour away from a quilting store and I'm not making the trip much with a newborn at home. I don't love buying fabric I can't see and feel in person but I'd like to find a white one I can stick with. I usually go for a very high quality, bright white muslin.

I usually go for the premium (200 ct) muslin. Legacy, Kaufman & Southern Belle are all very nice. They wash up nicer too than cheaper muslin. Not so many wrinkles. And they are a nice way to stretch out my stash of quilt shop quality prints. I can often find the Southern Belle on ebay for $3.50/yard. The seller is franks11. He sells in lots starting around 6 yd pieces. Shipping is fast too.

I like Kona cream, snow, and ivory.

I like Kona. I also use it a lot and buy it by the bolt, I think it is 10 yards?

I've been using the Kona lately too. I also was looking for something I could stick with. Whites are not all made the same. How many different colors of white can there be?lol

I have always used Kona cotton by Robert Kaufman. I don't buy the stuff at JAF anymore. Fabric Shack and Hancock of Paducah carry the hundreds of color that Kona comes in but I keep white, snow and black in stock. I have heard on this post that you can buy a bolt from Hancock of Paducah.
