Just wondering if anybody has a favorite color scheme that happens to pop up in your quilts, accidentally or on purpose.

I love using green in quilts and when designing a quilt (mostly picking blocks and laying them out on paint) pink and green happen to appear in a lot of mine which to me is weird as I'm not a pink person at all.

Anybody else have favorites??

I love the colors of FALL!!

Blues, greens and purples are my favorites. Pinks/greens too.

I like:
chocolate with pale blue, chocolate with pink, black with brights, white with pale colors, and apparently a lot of yellow because it's creeping into every project. LOL

Blues and purple are my favorite colors.

I like it all....it is so hard to choose..but I am always drawn to pink...or red. When I look at my stash..the colors I don't have.....Blue and gray.

I love purples, greens and fall colors.

Blues, teals always end up in mine.

Turkey reds are my #1 favorites... and different shades of white and cream...

Anything Victorian......pinks, greens, etc

Hands down is red, black olive, and ivory. Here's a pic of some I used together for a bargello. Loved the combination so much I redecorated my LR around it!

I'm totally drawn to chocolate brown and crimson reds right now...if i buy anymore Grace by Moda I'm gonna be in trouble.

I pick who is getting the quilt first, then then pattern.....decide on color last and tailor them to suit the recipient. Sooo....no, I don't have favorites that pop into my head. I wish I could tho, I would do them all in reds!

For a combination I like browns and aquas. When shopping I always gravitate to the blues and purples.

actually love them all except blues, really do not care for blue....so a friend has challenged me to a BOM where my background fabric is blue..LOL...it is actually comming along fine.

Black/White and either red, yellow or fuchsia.

my favorites are red/white or cream, I tend to lean more to the brighter colors

I'm a teal, green, purple mostly

I like almost everything. Every time I think there is a combination of colors I am not fond of, I see a quilt that changes my mind. :D

Earth tones. We live out in the forest so my colors tend to be earth tones. I have a lot of it in my stash.

Turquoise, but I can never find any.

Greens it is, and they seem to appear in every quilt I make. Isn't a shade of green that I don't like. I also find that somehow a pop of bright color appears in everything. I'm just not a neutral gal.

Easier to say what I DONT like and have very little of. Hmmm not sure....Wait...have all colors. Guess I like them all but have mostly dark and light in stash...very little mediums w/can cause some desgning issue. Off beat answer. sorry

I love all colors, black,red and white...blue,green...pink, burgundy....lavender/purple, yellow...yellow, blue, you name it, I love, love, love colors and usually ask the person I am making the quilt for if they have any preferences
