Creative Grids..... hands down!

We also use Creative Grids. When we took a class the teacher recommended that we pick a brand and stick with it. Her favorite is CG, so we used hers and liked them, and that is what we still use. The markings are clear, and the no stick buttons on the back do help to stabilize them.

I like the Creatve Grid rulers a lot!

Optima by far, have others but alas you can't find the brand anymore, when they need to be replaced it will be with creative grids which is similar except for the dots

I started quilting with different types of rulers, whatever size I needed that the store I was carried, I bought. So all of them were different (Quilt in a day, Omnigrid, Olfa, and a few others).
Then I bought ONE Creative Grid. I have since replaced every single ruler with a Creative Grid ruler. They're perfect for me. |
Kay England's Nifty Notions rulers. Olfa's yellow lines are difficult for me to read. TruCut rulers and rotary cutter that rides on a rail for cutting strips and squares. And any ruler by Deb Tucker for cutting and trimming specific blocks.

My 6.5x24" is a Fiskars--I can see the lines best on that one. I do love my shape cut, too.

Creative Grids - absolutely, positively! For me.

As our prices are generally double those of the U.S.A. , one is inclined to stick with the one that is purchased first - whether a 'dud' or not. I still have my Salem rule, bought in 1982.
