Since I started the topic, I suppose I should tell you my all time favorite is a Bernina 1031. I bought her second hand, and she was used pretty frequently by her previous owner from the look of her. But she performs beautifully, singing along melodically as she stitches away. I'm a Bernina girl through and through, having owned my lovely 1031, a 930, a 150QE, a 530-1 Record, and a big 8 Series 820. All of them hold special places in my heart, but the 1031, simple as she may be, is the apple of my eye.

I love my Viking 990 for piecing. I got it in about '85-86, and it is such an awesome machine. But for FMQ, I LOVE my 1937 Singer 15-91.

I loved my Janome MC3500 and still do, but for the extra throat space, I love my 6600P. Before these I had machines I didn't like much at all (brother and babylock).

My Pfaff 1471 is/was my favorite. I traded her for a 2046, and traded that one for the CV.

My Husq Viking SE which I've been without for 2 wks since it started to act up and only sew backwards...UGH...She's being looked at and I'm hoping it's the lesser of two evils.
Built up dirt on circuit bd and just needs a good cleaning or the worse shot circuit bd which will cost as much as 600 to replace...OH MY...decisions...Do I not fix the sewing part and just keep her for embroidery and then get a new sewing machine for a few hundred more or fix her...I'm praying for dust and dirt build up and a quick fix.

Got to be my Singer 15!!! Hands down! Not laid to rest either, that would just break my heart! I bought another one just in case! Now, I use them both!

My old bernina 830 and my mother's Singer 401A ~ Both still working away ~ Thank goodness.

I had a Singer Athena 2001. I loved it but passed it on to my DGD. I has a great home so all is well.

The 15-91's from the 40's - I just finished quilting a vintage full/queen on one of them a few days ago and when they're not quilting, they're piecing. Never want to give those up, either.

The Kenmore 1802 and 1803 from the early 70's. If it weren't for the smaller area under the arm, the 1803 would be my most-used machine. It's the best free-motion quilter I've got, but the smaller space makes it more difficult to use for large quilts. The 1802 is a backup in case the 1803 breaks down and can't be repaired. Sews EVERYTHING. Quilts beautifully. Glides along like a Cadillac.

All the other machines, I could let them go if I had to. But, I hope I can always keep all of these.
