storm at sea is my favorite right now. I'm on my third one, but this one is queen sized and will take awhile. I also like Lucky Stars for an easy one that looks difficult.

Anything from Tradition With a Twist
I love log cabins because I can use up my scraps and every one turns out completely different (different settings, different fabrics, different twists with combining other blocks or changing some of the log cabin logs).
Google the Wickedly Easy Quilt you can use yardage instead of fat quarters it is a great quilt for beginners or more experienced quilters one of my go to quilts.
I have yet to make either of my favorite patterns as I'm still searching for the perfect fabrics for them, but the Lone Star and this one
http://lynnesfreshhope.blogspot.com/...y%20sew-a-long are my favorites along with Grandmother's flower garden (wip) and for a simple quilt, I like double Irish chain. But I haven't done any quilt more than once as there are so many different patterns out there, but I think I may do a sampler next so I can try a bunch of different blocks! |
Quick Trips Quilts by Eleanor Burns is an easy and great looking quilt as is her Quick Quarter Quilt from same book. Both look really complicated but are actually easy when you follow her method. I have made about a dozen of these!!
The newest one I've seen and don't have. Love to buy them and then I forget about them.
I love Winning Hand by Eleanor Burns' Quilt in a Day. That is what you see in my Avatar.

Anything with stars.
Give me an Ohio Star anytime but I love all the patterns. Might just make me another Carpenter wheel one as mine came out so nice. So many patterns that I really like and have only made a few that were the same but Ohio Star always comes up a winner.
