Feathers up the nose are not nice either.

Ps They look terrible all squashed when you take them out of the washer, but fluff up in the dryer to be like new! J Truly feathers wash well - haven't you ever seen a bird taking a bath? I used to sell the contents of homes when the families were putting their loved ones in a home and I came across a lot of cushions on chair seats that were made with feathers. The one owner told me that when you sit in a feather seat, your rump does not get hot, that it is cooling because it breaths. I think we could all use this on our sewing chairs!!! Why get a hot seat?
