Thats what I am saying I would be sitting in the parking lot 30 minutes before they opened!! It looks like the tan one from what I can tell and if it is it would be closer to the $1000 mark.

It's a white/celery or a tan featherweight. I have one of each. Buy it fast!

YES!!! It's a white featherweight, probably made in Scotland. I have a white one, and that's the kind of case they came in. They are a little bit different from the black featherweights, but still are a featherweight.

Can he still get it? It is worth more than $50.

Edit: For future reference, one key feature of a featherweight model 221 is the fold-up bed on the left side of the machine. No other Singer has that feature.

Note: The featherweight model 222 has a removable bed (slides off to the left, creating a free-arm). These are much more rare than the 221 and worth even more.

GET IT!!! GET IT!! Be there when the door opens on Monday, take the picture and $50 with you and grab it up. I paid over $200 for mine.

I have a white featherweight that was made in England, just like the one you are showing> It is a great little machine to use for classes.

I agree - BUY it! For even $300 bucks it is worth it.

Wow, hope you get it!!!!

Yup, the rest are right. This is a featherweight, they call them white, but they are actually a creamy white. I have one, it was made in England in 1964 (?).

I would be there bright and early Monday. Tell him the machine he got you is a beauty. His heart is in the right place.
