I'm on an email list for Dave McCallum's Featherweight221.com business. For those of you interested in buying a featherweight, he is selling some of his. Here is the part of his email about them:

MACHINES for SALE ??? - Yep, we got 'em
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. We call this photo "Stairway to Heaven".

In the past couple of newsletters, we had mentioned "Machines for Sale" and we wanted to photograph some of the inventory. The only place we could get a group shop was on the staircase, and there are still more!

Our machines sell for $400 to $600, are completely serviced and refurbished with parts replaced as needed. They look like they just came out of the Singer factory and come with a six-month satisfaction guarantee.

We also have Model 301's and some of the Featherweight tables for sale. Contact us if you are interested.

Summer OFFICE HOURS are Monday through Thursday from 10am to 4pm PDT.
Our Events Schedule has been updated and includes a new feature. You can now see where we have BEEN by clicking on the Archived Events link. If you are attending the Covington Quilters Guild Show or the Busy Bee Quilters Show later this month, please stop by the Featherweight RX booth to say hello. More information can be found on our website. www.Featherweight221.com

What a great idea. The last time I tried to sew on my featherweight, I had forgotten how to put the bobbin in.
