feeling "naughty"... i was able to sneak in some piecing before work
 

feeling like i was misbehaving, this morning.

i've started work on my next quilt. it's going to be a very simple square block with a little border. it'll be a gift for my second cousin's new baby boy.

i had cut the center squares a few weeks ago. yesterday, i cut part of the border. this morning i chain-pieced them all and was able to press the seams!! all before getting dressed for work.

i feel like superwoman!!

oh, and i did a load of laundry!

this is a rarity in my life... so i'm going to boast a bit about it ;)

You're on fire today! Congrats, what a good feeling to be so useful! I went for donuts and stopped for a couple errands. I need to get going now. I am a lazy pants!

I feel soooo smart when I get extra stuff done!

Just feels like starting the day in a nice direction. I got up earlier than usual fixed DH breakfast so he didn't have to rush, also did load, read paper and all before 730. Got me started and then cleaned my sewing machines before 8.
