feeling like i was misbehaving, this morning.

i've started work on my next quilt. it's going to be a very simple square block with a little border. it'll be a gift for my second cousin's new baby boy.

i had cut the center squares a few weeks ago. yesterday, i cut part of the border. this morning i chain-pieced them all and was able to press the seams!! all before getting dressed for work.

i feel like superwoman!!

oh, and i did a load of laundry!

this is a rarity in my life... so i'm going to boast a bit about it

OK Libby...those of us who can't even remember our names until we've had a cup of tea and 1/2 hour of quiet in the morning COULD hate you for this !!! Seriously....don't you LOVE that feeling - "Queen of the World" !!! It might be a good day to buy a lottery ticket because you are RED HOT !!!

Just feels like starting the day in a nice direction. I got up earlier than usual fixed DH breakfast so he didn't have to rush, also did load, read paper and all before 730. Got me started and then cleaned my sewing machines before 8.
