We were just talking about this at lunch today. Sadly, I came in last because I have only one machine. But I love it, and it works for me!

I have one simple Brothers sewing machine that I had to beg for. I have hinted around that I want another one, but hubby about had a fit! So I guess I'll just make do.

I promised my DH that if he got me the Janome 6600 for Christmas I would downsize. Guess I have to now because he came through for me. Right now I have:
1941 treadle machine Janome 6600 Montgomery Ward 285 1970s era Singer (have 2 of those) 1980s era portable (don't remember brand) Husqvuarna serger I'll for sure keep the first 2 but I need to find a good home for the rest. Right now they're just clutter since I don't use them. |
I have a spare that Jim gave me, but I have not used it as yet. I run only my Singer.
|
I only have 1, a $300 singer and I do have another Singer, got in in 1976, its ina cabnet but never use it, looks like new.
|
OH NO! an unloved serger is just a shame. I love my serger!!
It took some time to "get to know it" and how it works but now i use it all the time. I even serge some of my quilt edges before i put on a binding. |
I have an Elna that I use most of the time, a Janome, a regular featherweight and a centennial edition featherweight and a hand-crank Singer. Why can't I get anything done??
|
Singer Treadle - Runs great.
Feather Weight....Love it Serger - don't use very often. Pfaff - Main machine. Setup and use almost every day. |
Bernina440, Singer Featherweight, and a treadle that is just to look at. (lol)
