Finally I scored!
There was only one yard sale yesterday and it mentioned "fabric" in the newspaper ad. We went and I was able to pick up 144 fat quarters, all quilting quality material, for $30. I came home and it was like Christmas and the lovely quilter who held the sale had them all packed according to colors that coordinate with each other.

I am speechless just thinking about the joy it has brought you and if it were to be my luck!! Pictures? That's a lot of fat quarters- have fun!!!

Stupedous deal! if you need a book on fat quarter quilting there are lots of them available. Not quite as many as for other precuts (jelly rolls, charm patches,etc.) but still enoughto have choices. Have fun.

Quickly now sew them all up, for if you don't in ten years you will be wondering what the heck to do with them. I know, I did the same thing and now years later am trying to use the darn things up. I will have to live to a hundred to use them all!
