Love it! And i love your border. I was looking for a border design for my scrappy quilt and I think that i have found what I am looking for. I want a border similar to yours. Now to look through my magazines and see what i have that will work.
What an awesome quilt. Kudos for sticking with it! You should be proud! |
Thank you very much for your generous comments... I am blushing!
I guess I became determined after many months of not knowing what to do l Most of all, I hated to leave it unfinished and having to say "I can't"... that's why it took me so long! No plans, not even sewing rows one at a time, it went in all directions, leaving it for months at a time, going back to it for a few weeks, but boy, did I learn a lot... I beleive in .... when there's a will, there's a way... call me stubborn also, it's ok! loll |

You did a terrific job. I will admit that even after 40 years of quilting my piecing is not be nearly as good as yours. Your quilting looks great also. Maybe I should come and take some lessons from you.

This is so very pretty! I might be encouraged to try my hand at hand quilting, yours is so pretty!

I think your first quilt is absolutely gorgeous! It's hard to believe it is your first, and judging from the results, won't be your last.

I agree with a lot of the others, you did a remarkable job on this quilt. Talk about stretching your abilities? Boy, you sure did! Congratulations on a job well done!
