Thank you all ladies. You are very encouraging by your comments. I am glad that I can inspire some of you to keep learning, trying and keep quilting!

It is fantastic! You should be very proud of yourself! You managed a lot of not so beginner techniques in this quilt and pulled it off perfectly! Congratulations!

It is beautiful, and beautifully done! And the best part may be how proud your husband is of you. I love the stories I read here about how supporting some husbands are of their wives' hobby (or work) and how much pride and joy they take in what they create. Makes my heart full. Other husbands should take note! .....and lessons!

WOW!! Your quilt is BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC!! Stand tall and be proud of youself. If you had not said that it was your "first" quilt nobody would have ever known. Your quilt looks like it was done by someone who has be quilting for many years! Congradulations!

You should be so proud of yourself. You did an amazing job!! Think of all you accomplished--created your own pattern, made everything come together at the corners, did two sided binding, did your own quilt design and quilted it by hand. What a list of accomplishments! Bravo!! We can't wait to see what you do next.

Doesn't it feel good when you can see what a good job you have done?
