The blue flowers appliqued show off the rest of the quilt nicely. Enjoy the process of making this quilt. It looks great.

Love the green sashing and the cornerstones are just the right touch.

Looks like your heading in the right direction! Sometimes I will draw a finished block - like your cornerstones - on graph paper to make sure I add enough for the seam allowances and don't cut off points. It helps alot to visualize as your sew. Keep at it - it's looking good!

LOve the blue hearts/flowers on the one block....you're doing a great job and I also love the sashing you chose.

Looks great to me! Worry about points only if you are entering a contest. I quilt for fun and love, don't you? You are learning with every quilt, so keep it up. You are doing great. :-)

Been there and done that. No matter, no quilt police here. What sweet fabrics. Once it's finsihed and quilted you will love it as is. I look forward to seeing this one done.

To keep my points on my quilt squares when I started out, I was told to cut them a little bigger than I wanted them to be, that way you can trim them to size. It's is impossible to add more if your stitching, cutting, seams, etc. are not big enough. I still do that for certain patterns that might 'fight' with me.
