I have also used fleece for the backing on several quilts. On my LSU Tiger Eye quilts I used the fleece LSU panel as the backing, my mother's flannel quilt I used fleece as the backing, the fleece panels work nicely. I have added fabric striping to make backing big enough for quilts. Pictures in album.

Awhile ago, I made about 50 quilts about 60" x 75", used the fleece as a backing and hand quilted them. donated to a kids hospital. loved the way they turned out.
