I just bought the mylar at Joanne's with my coupon. Now I'll have to check out those stamps.

Thanks for all the useful and interesting ideas everyone comes up with. I really spend to much time here every day, but keeps me off the streets.lol

Being very frugal (cheap) I make my own from the plastic tops of spread containers. Do a running stitch around the edge, draw the thread and it's just like making a yoyo. Originally I put a hole in each one but found it's not necessary. Once they are sewn together, snip the gathering thread on the hexagon that is surrounded and the plastic will pop out.

I used cardboard stock paper and found the hexagon printout online or you could draw your own then print them out. You'd need quite a bunch to start with. As mentioned elsewhere, I punched a hole in the center (didn't have to be exact) and I used a small pin to hold in place. Once sewn to another block, I took the cardboard piece out and re-used. this work for me anyway. Good Luck !!
