Congratulations to you! I am still working at it. Getting better all the time, but not there yet. I read somewhere that it takes 6 hours of FMQ for most people to get it. Your quilt looks very pretty. The thread is a great match for the fabric. Now you can complete the whole quilt yourself. That's great!

Looks great and its very, very pretty! I also know what you mean by it "clicking". I've just started quilting and I'm the type of person who starts as they mean to go on but get better! I practiced on a few scrappy sandwiches a couple of times and all 3, yes 3, quilts have been FMQ'd. Its definitely not the best, weird stitch lengths etc but Im new to sewing and to quilting so still learning, but its FUN!
