Love my super slider. Really helps move that quilt around!

A sheet of plastic purchased by the yard works for me.

I don't have the Supreme Slider, but I did find something that has worked for me and is much cheaper. I use a teflon sheet for ironing appliques to fusible. Cut a hole in it for the needle and used masking tape to tape down to extension table and machine.

If you buy the Sew Slip brand sheet, it's about twice as big for the same price as the Supreme Slider.

I made one and did a thread on it. Go to search and enter "Free Motion Slider". I showed pictures of product that I used. Hope this helps. I have used it and it works great for me.

Um a yeah.... lol.

Does that mean you have or you haven't one? :D In any case I do think you could tape it down or cut it to size for your machine if you don't have an extension table.

Found this for same price. Not sure what the difference is, if any.

I have one and thought I liked it. Then, I did a big-ish quilt without it. My feed dogs don't drop so I just set the stitch length to zero, and, surprise to me, it worked better. Can't explain it. My machine is in a table.

I have two machines, both in tables so i have a flat huge bed to work with. I like the tip about the larger sized one. I'll be sure to investigate that as I look at them.

My big thing is that I don't want to tape anything down, if I don't have to. Might leave a sticky mess, and as several have said... I imagine that the quilt will drag on the taped areas then.

But I do need to pull it up to get to my drop in bobbin.

Thanks everyone! I've got at least three manufacturers now.. and a possible DIY option. You are all the best!!!! :D
