Well I have tried the shelf liner and that did not keep mine in place. I am sewing on a tiled floor, so don't think the velcro hooked side would work either. Thinking maybe tape a piece of carpet on the tile floor where I need the foot and then try the velcro hooked side! I too get tired of chasing after the darn foot!

AAAAhhhh the door stops would be great! I have a board under the backside of my sewing machine but at times find I am pushing the machine away as I sew! The door stops would secure it being it is rubber! Great tip.. thanks! :)

Chasing foot pedals is why I miss the old style knee controler on the old cabinets. I have 2 of them, but the machines I like to use the most won't fit them.
