I only use the 1/4" foot that has the flange, the main purpose for accufeed is for thick or multi layer stitching. I use accufeed for binding but I use a 3/8" seam for that.

I have the 6600... but can not seem to figure out how to get a consistent quarter inch when quilting.... Any suggestions for how to line it up... I had the walking foot with my previous, smaller janome q... something or other. No problems with it. The built in foot that comes with this machine will be really neat.... if I can figure out how to get a consistent quarter inch.
