Quilters are the most ingenious group of people I've ever met. Everytime one of us solves a problems facing ourselves we also wind up help lots of other quilter's problems too.

I can relate to be healthy and active one day and the next you are faced with so many challenges. Being ingenious we find ways to over come our personal challenges so we can continie doing what we love. Having no quilting police to say you can' do it that way is so freeing. Who cares how much time it takes as long as we finish it. :D :D :D

Hey David, I'm in the same boat you are in only the other way around. I made a walker caddie to fit over the front bar of the walker. As you well know, you can't carry anything when you have to use a walker. I put 5 1/2 inch quilt books, a bottle of water, patterns in the front pocket, and other misc items just to see how strong the straps were and they held. I put snaps instead of buttons because of arthritis. My point is, you are inventive when you need to be to make something work for you. Good for you for coming up with your idea.

You BET they can! There is almost nothing we can't do if we put our minds to it! How clever you are! :)

Isn't it great when we figure out a way to work around our problems? KUDOS!

BTW - does duct taping your fingers make it easier to push the needle thru?
