Great idea. I have a new furbaby and need to make a pad for his cage.

Great idea! My fur baby loves to lay on my pillows because they smell like me-so now she can have pillows of her own.

I started doing this to give to my Vet. My kitties claimed one so it is on the couch. Keeps alot of hair off the couch now. I've made 8 so far by using stuff that would go in the trash.

Clip an old pillowcase to your quilting table and drop all of them in there, when there is enough to make a comfy bed, don't over-stuff cos of the weight when you wash, stitch the end together, and you have a nice little comfy bed for your favourite fur-baby. My added tip is to add another pillowcase which you can wash when needed. |

The tip of the day!!! All of our fur-babies will love you

I sewed three puppy quilts for my two little Yorkies and my DD dog too they love them

My friends know that I am a fabric "collector" and pretty resourceful, so they give me bags and boxes of al kinds of fabric.
I offer my "new treasures" to other sewing friends. What they and I can't use, gets cut up and put into fabric bags for the Critters. Just sent 28 of these little "beds" to local Cat Rescue Group. they loved them! |
It's a great idea...there is a good use for everything...
