Frixion pen marking lines
I started hand quilting for the very first time and yesterday I purchased a frixion pen to mark my quilt. After quilting I ironed the marking lines and they disappeared like they should. But I didn't like the kind of flattened look from the ironing. So I thought......what to do to make the markings disappear? When I was awake last night it suddenly dawned on me: use the blow dryer. So I did and voilą. All markings gone and a puffy quilt :) :) :)

Hi Anael, What a great solution! I love my Frixion pens and use them all the time.
Now, here's another experiment for you to try ... pop your quilt in the freezer for awhile and voila ... the lines reappear! No problem, blow dry them again. Just don't picnic in the snow on your quilt unless you have a blow dryer handy LOL. |

I have always just held my steam iron slightly above the marking because, like you, I did not want to press my quilt. Next time, I may use the hair dryer. Thanks for that tip.

Such a great idea, never occurred to me!!! I believe that is thinking outside of the box!!!
