Returned today from a 4 day quilting weekend with 3 other friends. We do this twice a year.
Very rainy but got alot of sewing done, finished 5 tote bags made with leftover blocks, 6 Christmas stockings, 4 ornaments, I wallhanging, and 2 pillowcases. I would to post a picture but I dropped my camera half way through the weekend and it broke:( |
Sounds like a productive weekend but sorry about your camera.

What a neat thing to do. I wish I knew folks who would want to do that. Sewing with a friend would be sew fun.

Sorry about the camera. Not fun when you were having such a good time.

Fun -- several of us gals get together once a month and have a SEW SATURDAY. It's this weekend and I can't wait!

Sorry about your camera! On your little 4 day " retreat" .. do you travel far from home? Is it in a specialized retreat spot with all the electrical etc? I am fortunate to attend quilt shop retreats & quilt guild retreats.... BUT.... a couple friends & I have wondered about renting a hotel room or two & just setting up to enjoy a few days of quilting. Has anyone done that? Or... I guess my real question is.... would a normal hotel room have enough power to support 4 machines & at least 1 iron ?

I want to start something like that with a group of us Boarders around here... sounds like great fun and a wonderful way to get a lot of work done...

Sounds like fun! Sorry about the broken camera - hopefully they can get the pictures out though.

Did your camera have a memory card? If so your pictures might be safe.
