A lady in my quilting class just bought one and is in love. She said it's a perfect machine but can cause die addiction. She swore she wouldn't order extra's but already has orders in for different sizes. I'm going to get one as soon as the money farie rains down on my checkbook.

Pam, I saw in another post that you recently got a new sewing machine. Which did you get? I'm in the market for a new one and am very close to purchasing a Janome 6600.

I recently bought the QuiltCut 2, after watching it being used at the MQX show in NH -- and got to try it out myself. It's amazing, and so user friendly. You can see a demo online. Because I have some arthritis in my hands, I know that will only progress, and this will be wonderfully helpful. And you can do any and all shapes, and up to 10 layers of fabric at a time.

Not sure if I am the "Pam" you wanted, but I recently purchased the Janome 6600P, and am in love with it. It's so wonderful for all things -- including machine quilting. Very easy to learn, quiet, smooth, lots of interesting stitches. Great reputation, and company stands behind it so strongly. I am sooo glad I got it.

I want this sooooo bad but; at this time we are trying to teach the difference of wants and needs to our grandchildren who think their own car is a need. I have a feeling if this cutter shows up in my sewing room they will be asking me if it is a need or want. I WANT it. So for now while the economy is so awful it will remain on my Christmas wish list for everyone to pitch in to buy. I hope the grandkids don't think of this for the car they want!

Hi Pam, I am not sure which Pam I meant, I'm a bit confused from finding my way around the forum. But thanks for your answer. I am getting excited to buy one.

I am just learning about navigating here, too! But again, I tell you that you will LOVE that machine. If you live in NH, be sure to purchase it at Bittersweet Fabric in Boscawen ---
