I am going to visit a friend in Ludlow, VT. Near Okemo. Does anyone know of quilt shops I could visit enroute from Boston to Ludlow or in the Ludlow vicinity? Thanks!!

No, but I wish I could go with you!! :)
That's the only New England state I haven't been to.
Love that part of the country! :)
Hope you have a good trip!

Haha! Same as my husband. He say he has always wanted to see vt and I told him just take a 1/2 hr ride to NH and picture more trees!

there is a shop called Quiltaway fabrics right off I-91 in Westminster VT - I have never been there but hear good things about it.

There is a nice shop in Wilmington, called the Norton House. You probably won't go that way.

Great! Have you ever heard of Country Treasures in Chester?

not sure, I have not been in Chester in years, but it is a nice little town.

I have heard of them! Never been but have visited their booth at the Bennington quiltfest and they were one of my more favorite vendors. They had wideback batiks and some cool gadgets. If their booth is any indication of their shop I would say definitely try to squeeze them in.

Too bad about not making it to Wilmington as Norton House is a very nice shop with a bargain attic and their prices are reasonable on the regular priced stuff downstairs and if you spend $30 or more you get free fudge next door! I'd say it is worth the road trip. An hour drive in Vermont is all beautiful and I bet you could map out a shop hop.

This place sounds good too and is close to Ludlow.
