Golden Afternoon pattern
 

Free pattern from the fabric manufacturer of Aria line of fabric site has a digital representation to illustrate the end result. I wondered if anyone who completed this pattern might have a photo and could post the same.

Why they showed it unquilted, hanging poorly on a line in front of a beat-up trailer is beyond me. It doesn't look very attractive this way, IMHO.

Not a lot of quilt stores carrying this free pattern or the fabrics It is a simple quilt of just HST. I agree with dunster, not a great photo of it in front of an older trailer.

I think it is quilted in the photo, I believe I can see a binding there. It's very pretty.

I'm sorry, but the pattern shown in front of the trailer was not the one to which I was referring.

I'm wondering how the "real McCoy" would appear as at the bottom of the page it states "actual fabric repeats will vary from design shown".

I don't think you'd have to worry about it. They're just saying that the portion of the pattern that shows on the large print squares in the quilt you make isn't going to match the photo exactly; but the overall effect will be the same

(The Cantata print is the fabric I'm deciding upon.) I don't know if the quilt will be symetrical and also whether the quilt will breathe, so to speak.

I know that this quilt is not the one being asked for by the OP, but I like this quilt, and I like seeing it hanging on the line in front of an old trailer. That's life in the rough. There are strips of fabric tied onto the line in even intervals, so a lot of work went into making the background to that picture. Even the wrinkled quilt makes me feel calm.
