I wasn't serious about moving because there is a great quilt shop. I love to visit San Diego but don't want to live there. It's just fun to think of living close to really nice quilt shops that I visit in my travels.

Dina,
I ship fabric home via USPS when traveling. It's cheaper than paying for a checked suitcase, and since I only take carry-on luggage, it would mean waiting for luggage at the other end. I love that the PO brings it to me, and it's like a surprise all over again when I open and go through my new fabric! :) |

I'm in San Diego for work and had a free afternoon so of course I visited quilt stores. I spent 2 hours at Rosie's. I've been there before but didn't remember how reasonable the prices are, plus she added another room since I was there last. Is it reasonable to decide to relocate based on a quilt store? Makes sense to me but DH might not see it that way. The second picture is me trying to decide which batiks had to come home with me - the most delicious decision on Earth!
I'll try to post a picture of my spoils but probably not until get home. |
Well that and their weather would be good reason to move.

I have a friend that moved from central New York state to TN so he could pursue his interests of fly fishing and bluegrass music.................good thing his wife was in agreement.
