Valid point. But if one is looking for chain fabric stores in my area, only Joann's shows up in that search. Hancock's and Hobby Lobby don't even show up when Googling "fabric". You'd need to do a store locater search for those. |
for Carrie Ann in Janesville WI--Millies has closed their quilt shop--where is the Ben Franklin in Darien/Delevan area?

I think there is a book of shops and I know one of the magazines publishes a list - Happiness is Quilting in Mckinney, Tx and Quilt Asylum in McKinney are great - there are others - good luck

Jamies Crafts in Hastings, Michigan has reasonable material and is quilter shop quality for $3.99 and up also fat quarters for $1.75. Friends Quilting Basket in Lake Odessa, Michigan is a new quilt shop that is getting a nice supply of quilting fabric and notions. They are trying to keep their prices reasonable.
