Congratulations. I have never seen that much fabric at a thrift store. Great haul, what are you going to make?
|
Whoo Hoo Congrat's on multipe finds at your store!!!!
Like so many others have stated in their particular areas I too never 'happen' in to a Goodwill, yard sale, estate sale or auction... that is just the right time to find great scores! |
We have quite a few GW's, my friend & I hit all of them & never found any material! Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I am really happy for you!! My Goodwill doesn't seem to have very much fabric and most is double knit or something that you would not use in a quilt.
|
That is great!

Congrats on the fabric--good deal!
I understand that the workers get first pick of all that's donated |
I have no idea what I'm going to make. For now it's sitting on the dinning roon table making me smile and do a happy dance when I see it. I have gotten small pieces before but never anything like this. Maybe some day I'll find a Featherweight. That would be tops.

I found 30 ct linen for Hardanger embroidery at a local thrift store. $2.25 for the gallon zip bag of cuts. Quite a bargain considering retail is upwards of $28.00/yd. (It was labeled by the thrift store as painting canvas.)
