What a wonderful gift! He not only knows what you like, found a quilt shop so you could have the pleasure of looking and took you instead of giving you a gift certificate... Which means he knew he'd have to wait while you shopped, a gift in itself. The best valentine's gift I've heard about!

Hijack: Hi, Karla! Enjoy your week off. Hope you get lots of time to do whatever you want to do, and don't have too much you HAVE to do that'll take time from the things you enjoy.

Bev, Kara,....not alone. My hubby has never celebrated Valentines Day. As a kid they were too poor (5 children) to buy cards to exchange at school, so it's just another day to him.
Helped grandbaby make him a card and he told me he would have bought me one but thought v. day was on a Sunday. I told him that was alright. What else am I gonna tell a man that just let me order a new sewing machine?:D hugs to you both, and a belated Happy Valentines Day! :) |
