I never find all that good stuff at ours but it seems like when I travel I see all kinds of good stuff at other Goodwills. Congrats on all your wonderful finds.

Fantastic finds...I love rummaging around in thrift stores..amazing treasures abound! Went to an auction house yesterday and came away with a piece of Cornish Pottery for a bargain price...saw an antique Spanish knitting stool..my DH said "where are you going to put it?" I reluctantly left it there...but it really appealed to me...maybe tomorrow I'll see if it is still there.

great finds ! I love thrift store, never could find materials or quilt books but have gotten a thin blankets to used as battings and at a great affordable price since i mainly use them on lap blankets for grandkids or the house. Have fun using your treasure finds.

You had a great shopping day. Thrift shops are gret places to find treasures. Good for you!

Lucky you - after a day of digging through thrift stores, I'm jealous.
Although, I did get lucky and pick up some packages of quilting fabric. It had just come in and I took two plastic bags from sheet sets full of fabric pieces. As good as the deals are, it seems silly to be hauling "treasures" home when it's a 15-hour trip! Wish there was a thrift store in my home town. |
how about consigment shop or antiques store? They may have a box of materials..i know that i seen some in New York once out in the country.
