jeanneb52 04-19-2011 05:33 AM

Don't you just love it when someone hears with their heart, rather than their ears???

LindaaJR 04-19-2011 05:56 AM

Wow, how nice of him. Wonder what he will do for
Mother's Day? LOL or maybe this was an early Mother's Day gift. Who cares, it is nice to know some children listen when their parents aren't even talking to them. Take care.
Linda

What a GREAT son you have there! Can you give him Big Hug from me? Tell him it's from a mom/quilter who appreciate his good deed!

NatalieMacDonald 04-19-2011 06:51 AM

He listened? He really can listen and knew how much that would mean to you and figuring out splinters and fabric don't mix! You did it! All that hard work growing up a child to be a man.

CarrieAnne 04-19-2011 06:52 AM

Give him a hug from me for being such a sweet and thoughtful son!! Our kids often surprise us with what they do to bring smiles to our faces and joyful tears to our eyes. Both of mine do from time to time.

Anna.425 04-19-2011 10:54 PM

My Mom had one for making drapes, although we used it for tons of other things. She covered it with cork and then covered that with a sheet and it was wonderful for sewing because you could stick pins in it.

Marvel 04-25-2011 07:35 AM

You have a very beautiful young man there. Do you loan him out> lol
