Gee - the hankie girls are adorable. I've seen aprons made from hankies too. I'm going to try something from Cindy Brick's book. I will incorporate an old hankie of my Moms, add a bit of broken jewelry that belonged to her also and add bits of other things. Will frame it and give it to my daughter

Such a beautiful hankie quilt. Would you mind to send me the pattern or instructions of just how you folded the hankies to make the buterflies ? Thank you, Rosalie

I have a lot of men's ties to do something with soon also.

Daddy's Ties by Shirley Botsford has a quilt pattern using men's ties. I made a quilt out of my Dad's ties. He loved it.

I'm new as how to reply, but would like to know how you made the hankie quilt. Thanks

I thought I replied to your question but do not see it on the board. Let me know whether or not you got the directions that I sent for the Moda Hanky Quilt. If not, I will try again. Yolanda

I saw a pattern in an older quilting magazine that used hankies and embroidered linens and made crazy quilt type blocks into a really sweet table runner. Also on Sewing with Nancy they did blouses out of the old border print table cloths. They were really neat. I think she had a book out on how to do that.
