LindaM49 03-20-2012 02:34 AM

Sun Bonnet Sue wallhanging...the month of June. Figured I would work ahead and that way it would be done for the month I want to display it. LOL

Jackie Spencer 03-20-2012 03:20 AM

Sylvias Bridal Sampler, Im doing it in pastels, and lots of small florals. Started it last month when I was sooo longing for Spring!

grandma7 03-20-2012 03:39 AM

Quilt for my granddaughter's graduation in May, Christmas wallhanging for nephew's wedding in June and baby quilt for new great niece/nephew in August.

Sew N Tune 03-20-2012 07:20 AM

A 54 x 54 project I saw a picture of and figured out the design. Using the Nestled in the Branches fabric series by Legacy. Next will be a Japananese Lantern quilt - using Asian prints against black.

Becky Crafts 03-20-2012 09:08 AM

I'm trying to finish the last of the wolf panels for my son, then have a white table runner all cut out & ready to go for my sister with denim blue flowers appliqued on it. It's very fancy & is a real challenge, but I'm determined!! LOL!

carly 03-20-2012 10:31 AM

Just finished top called Nickalodian for DVD, now starting on SunnyLanes.

kamaiarigby 03-20-2012 11:15 AM

I am working on a BIG string quilt for hubby, winter is nearly here and he is a terrible blanket hog in the winter, I am also working on a quilt for son to give to his MIL
There is always another quilt waiting to be made.
Happy sewing to you all

Raggiemom 03-20-2012 11:15 AM

I have a couple UFOs I'm determined to finish before the end of the month. Then I'm going to start 2 queen sized rail fence quilts that are Christmas presents (last year! :) ). I'm taking them back with me when I go for my niece's graduation the end of June. This Saturday our church is a having a quilting get-together. All the quilts we may are being donated for tornado relief. Of course, I would get more done if I got off the computer...

noahscats7 03-20-2012 12:35 PM

What's the chance of seeing your layout for a twister bunny? It sounds TOO cute.

quiltingb1 03-20-2012 05:16 PM

I am working on handquilting my large civil war remembrance quilt during the evening and putting together my Patriots in Petticoats quilt top during the day. Am going to take a few weeks off from both and make some spring dresses for the granddaughters and spring purses for their mom's and me.

Pam B 03-20-2012 06:01 PM

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So depressing. I have a bunch of projects I need to be working on but most days I come home from school (I teach kdg) and I end up taking a nap and then I don't do anything else. Hope that next week (my spring break) I can get out of this slump I am in.

mrsponcho1 03-20-2012 06:45 PM

I am hand quilting an Easter wall hanging for my Grandmother's nursing home room. UFO's include hand quilting another wall hanging for Grandma, a bed size quilt for son and daughter in law, and a lap quilt (not sure who gets it yet). I am not piecing anything else till I finish some of these UFO's. A quilter's last famous words. lol

Hope everyone is having a good time with their projects.

Just finished a funky chicken Easter quilt top, now if I can only follow through and get a border on it,layered and quilted by then, I'll be doing the happy dance. Pay no attention to the wet spots on my eggs, had to wash off kitty prints.

irishrose 03-20-2012 08:14 PM

A nine patch/snowball in reds and a Sunny Lanes. Happy Spring you, too.

I like your playhouse. I've seen several similar styles and I like the bowl warmers, but I have no clue what spatter guards are. Can you please explain?

applique 03-22-2012 03:52 AM

When heating up stuff in the microwave in the bowl warmer it still might spatter. So there is a top to protect the microwave from any spatters!

nhweaver 03-22-2012 05:16 AM

Finishing 10 donation children's quilts, doing a BOM - from Keepsake quilting, trying to keep the stash under control.

sylviak 03-22-2012 05:33 AM

Just finishing the top to one graduation quilt (lack the applique) and will be starting on the second one shortly. Bought new embroidery machine and I've been doing practice pieces on that. Found a site where I could get Robison-Anton poly embroidery thread for $1/mini cone, and just put in my second order. That should hold me for quite a while! Bought 150 colors. I have two tops waiting to be quilted and I'll be starting a "Trip around the world bargello" in April.

gramarraine 03-22-2012 05:37 AM

I am still trying to get UFO's done. Every time I seem to be making headway I have to stop sewing to do something like go get my drivers liscense renewed. As soon as the weather warms up all the sewing will be put on hold so I can try to make my yard look beautiful.

mummadee 03-22-2012 06:04 AM

Easter tablerunner and hopefully a bunny wall hanging.

kateyb 03-22-2012 06:12 AM

Happy Spring. Working on a scrappy and a kaleidoscope fan.

Rubesgirl 03-22-2012 11:05 AM

Finishing my auction quilt (adding a little sparkle), working on a star for a class and trying to decide how to fussy cut dragon fabric for a quilt for my DGS. :)

happylab 03-22-2012 06:25 PM

I'm working on hand sewing binding on a tee shirt quilt, machine quilting 3 projects (a pink & purple quilt, a scrappy throw quilt and a Nebraska quilt). I'm starting another scrappy quilt and working on making up a simple train quilt top. Most of these are UFO's from last year.

Buckeye Rose 03-22-2012 06:30 PM

I just finished quilt #4 in 2 weeks...the tops were already done.....gonna start on my first bow tuck bag....after that I have 2 more quilts to start and another 2 to plan for more grandsons.....it's a never ending list!.....thank goodness my family all like my quilts!

karlin68 05-01-2012 11:15 AM

Determined to finish up nephew's quilt ( so he'll have it in the summer?! lol) and then onto a quilt for my husband's cousin's wedding in Oct.

burchquilts 05-01-2012 01:19 PM

I'm waiting for the fabric to make a couple of Jelly Roll Race (or 1600 or whatever it's called). Plus I'm in 2 fabric swaps. Plus, I'm trying to make sense of my sewing studio -- it's a disaster... LOL! I can't wait to see pictures of y'all's projects!

Don't you wish we could quilt with one hand & be on the 'puter with the other? I do! Let's put our heads together & figure that out... LOL!

We'll cheer you on! I, too, have been in a quilting slump. I think it's because somehow my sewing studio got to be such a wreck & now the thought of cleaning it is just overwhelming to me. But I REALLY not only want to start sewing but I need to. Both my DS & DD bought houses this year & I need to make them housewarming gifts. Plus, DD doesn't know it yet but she's about to get engaged (only the Shadow knows... LOL!) so there is an engagement quilt & eventually a wedding quilt... sheesh! I'm tired just thinking about it! We all should form a support encouragement group.

Please post pictures when you're done. I love 9-patches & especially set with snowballs!

Still working on the lap quilt for daughter's teachers' mother. Then I'm on to making a couple of table runners for significant other's mom and sister. One more week of class then I'm out for 3 weeks hope to finish the one and begin the others. Keeping my fingers crossed. I love your Spring Bear she is just adorable.
