The only problem I have had is that the many times I haven been to HF they are always sold out. I pity the poor carpet layer who is trying to support his family but can't buy blades because the quilters are grabbing all of them.

if you want good fabric cutting rotory cutters you need to
break down and buy the ones made for it-sorry you wasted your money

On sale they are $1.79 for two blades, which is a great price, so I bought some. I have not had any problems with them, but even if I did have a problem, I would not feel I wasted any money since they are only $1.79 for two.

Sunflower, could you have gotten a bad batch of blades? Would it be worth it for you to spend the non-sale price of $1.99 for two more blades just to see? I can hear your frustration, but have not experienced what you have, so I'm hoping you give it one more try.

At a hardware/tool store called Harbor Freight. The have a website that you can look for a store near you and if you don't have one near you, they have an online store.

I've tried turning the blades over thinking I may have put it on wrong. Anyone else have these problems? Bought them awhile ago and didn't save receipt so I guess I'll have to save my JoAnn's coupons and go invest in the real thing. UGH!

I wonder if you didn't realize there are 2 blades in the package and put both in your cutter? They don't work at all that way LOL

I wonder that too.

My first HF blade didn't work. I changed it to another rotary cutter and it works just fine. Don't know why that would make a difference but it did. Works very well, and only $l. apiece.

I have been using these for several months now and cut through as much as 4 layers at a time. They work as well for me as any of the original opnes.

I have had no problems with mine, either.
