I can answer that too: Rhonda is one of the QB members who specializes in miniatures. Tutes are tutorials and you can find a variety in the tutorial section of the QB.

madquilter; thankyou. I feel like I'm learning a whole new language.....and it's all addicting!

for my first quilt, I tried something with small blocks. Ouch, turned out bad. Too much percision was needed.

So I changed to just doing large patchwork quilts. From there a started working on strip quilts, then some easier patterns. I still am not a perfect quilter, but I feel more comfortable tackling points (thought they rarely line up right). :)

Tutes are tutorials. Go to the main forum page and go under tutorials, you will see many tutorials posted by rhonda.

I personally like to make larger blocks, the easier the better. It makes the project get done faster and I can get to the quilting. It is also easier to find your mistakes if the blocks are bigger because the problem will show itself faster. I can always plan on having to do some ripping. The bigger the pieces the less likely I am to destroy them in the ripping process.

Please forgive me for not replying sooner, but one day I accidentally hit the spam key and I no longer get e-mail updates. So I need to keep going back to My Profile to go back into anything that I've posted on.

If in the future you have a question about anything that I've responded to, please PM me and it'll get my attention sooner.
