My Ex and his family NEVER understood, never appreciated and never commented on my quilting or quilts.

we must be related. I quilt and my husband works in wood.

i have ran out of black material . and bought more only to find there is a million different shades of black. and i bought the wrong one

We were visiting our daughter in Connecticut last week after her graduation. We went to a quilt store and DH ended up helping another lady find fabric to match a knit bag she was making. I should consider renting him out, he actually is very good at coordinating colors and fabrics.
His hobby is wood carving and he can spend as much on wood and wood working tools as I can in a quilt shop!

I find if I ask my DH to pick up some fabric for me he usually buys more fabric than I asked and something else, too. Yeah, think Ill keep him.
